Love Twists, Torments
Love twists and torments the fragile young mind. Nothing seems to help heal it, not even time. That’s why never again, you’ll trust someone. No matter what they say, what’s done is done. The mark has been placed, it shall not part. It’s left a deep scar, upon your heart. For you, love’s gone, and may not be again. I’m sorry it happened to you, yet then . . . What’s the difference, another will show! He’ll behave much better, love true, I know!! I wish things were finer for you… I do. Please . . realize, he’s not for you. If he were, he’d understand your ways. Now when you look, it’s through a maze. It changes the reasons, for your doings. It makes you question, why you’re doing. Know, one-day, over the rainbow, you will find. How true Love counts, in this world so blind.
