School Daze
~ Here it comes again, that big old yellow bus With colored lights a flashing, making such a fuss It’s early in the morning, I just fell out of bed And now it’s off to school again, the one thing that I dread Those double doors are open, I better get inside And find a place that I can sleep, the back where I can hide But who is this before me, I’ve never seen before A beautiful bus driver, right here inside the door Her eyes are like the ocean, so very deep and blue A smile brighter than the sun, her hair a golden hue Now you may think I’m crazy, a stupid high school guy I swear my heart it skipped a beat when I heard her say hi I couldn’t even answer, my tongue tied in a knot This woman was so beautiful, in fact I’d say she’s hot I picture us together, daydreaming of romance Perhaps I’ll ask her to the prom if she knows how to dance I float on down the aisle watched children push and shove But it don’t really matter, because I am in love I never thought I’d say this, but now it seems so cool To get up every morning and head on off to school ~
