All In
All In Is who I am. Bright colors that make people gawk, I have a funny way I walk, as it appears I shuffle, but it is a dance of sorts. God loves me and I am mobile… I am grateful. I am the person that comes to the party, dressed as a zebra, a pilgrim or unwanted salesperson. Ever at large, I am in your way. I am loud, obnoxious, I help everywhere I can, and bother YOU! At the get together, you grabbed your stuff and ran. You were kind at first, but never looked back. At the birthday party, I tried harder. I filled the room with balloons, the guests had to party outside. They all laughed. You were not laughing when you smiled. You tried hard, but you made that other face, just underneath. At Thanksgiving, I forgot to pluck the turkey, Actually and in fact, I let it go in the yard… the kids loved it, and everyone laughed again, except… (small echo voice) you. Christmas is coming. Maybe you won’t pick me up anymore? I understand. I am loud. I am big. I smile too much. Sometimes, I drool. It is okay, they will let me stay. They are nice to me…here. I will miss you still.
