Of Us and Trees
No matter where I go or be, I’m always in the midst of a tree; trees—following and teaching me. Many they are—many of every kind— and whenever you see any, you’re seeing mysterious wonders God gave to humankind. From time immemorial, they have been; living links of creation—rooted and anchored in their silent growing being—ancient towering terrestrial bridges connecting creation’s tri-cosmos. In the beginning, in the Garden of Eden, they were born—fruiting life and knowledge; symbolic gendered humanity, bearing awareness and choice: the sly serpent and teasing apple. Indeed, where would we be without divine forestation? Trees—the navel of the cosmic axis of creation; the center of the circadian rhythms of life, death and resurrection. Let there be no mistake about the Creator’s master plan for you, me and trees, and how we should here abide; living and surviving in the vast expanse of this divine land: they providing the oxygen and us, the carbon dioxide. Pity the vacuous minded climatically unaware clown; urbanizing the planet, cutting our precious trees down. Blessed are we that the celestial sun continues to abound; nourishing proliferating trees down here on the ground.
