I'M Awake
I feel as though an angel has been sent to me. I don't know what I did to deserve him. I'm not a perfect person sometimes-most of the time actually-I'm not even a good person. For so long I have been told I was not enough, that I would never fit in, that I wasn't deserving and now here is this wonderful person saying that I am more than enough, that I fit perfectly in their arms, that I deserve the whole world. I don't know what to think of it. Is this real? Can someone pinch me to make sure? My feelings are scattered; is this real or just a whisper of smoke that I want so desperately to be real? I do think it's real. For so long I believed what they said about me but now I'm not so sure. What if you- you beautiful, caring person- are right? You would never lie to me. You mean so much to me for being able to see past this broken shell to what I forgotten had lain sleeping all this time. Well now I'm awake.
