Dilemmas and Dichotomies
Were there no mountains, valley dwelling would be a chore, And were there no dichotomies, life would be a big bore. The long standing definition of dilemma has always Involved at least two problematic situations in which We are compelled to choose, but the word has come to be Acceptable with having a single matter of complexity or quandary. our lives are paved with beauty and puzzled by challenge. We welcome the beauty with open arms, but challenges Sometime come with pain that forces us to fold our arms. Through battle scars and falling stars, our lives have been captured and embraced by contentment, but are presently being called upon to pursue an alternate course. And we are Compelled to confront the dichotomy to which We are totally Opposed. You have found satisfaction in your present status and place of abode, But your sense of tranquility and peace is being tested and challenged. I suspect such a description befits the journey of many a Christian pilgrim Will your response be yes or no; should I go or should I stay? Yes, we are meditating and praying, seeking answers to this our dilemma, but still we are conflicted because we are opposed to such changes. There is nothing within us so inclined to dismantle our present state. No, we do not see a fork in the road but rather a road yet unpaved on Which we have neither a desire to travel nor a vision for such a pathway. It is not answers from others for which we are seeking, because we Realize it is a matter for which we alone must face and come to terms, but we often find a sense of ease by simply sharing our dilemmas. And there is an added sense of solace if we are able to express it in words. 1005109PoSoup
