Volleyball Championship
The day of the volleyball tournament arrived, We had practiced together all year. I would travel from our parents' beautiful house, I was accepted as a last minute valuable player. My friend had sprained her hand and couldn't play, They asked me to come on the team. Our competition was an American team, We played all day with friends on the "Parents Without Partner" team. The Canadian team won the championship, That was an exciting game. We went to a friends house to celebrate, We each received a trophy, which was very nice. Our friend kept the large trophy at her house, We stayed friends, what an accomplishment. I don't play volleyball anymore, You have to slow down as a senior. I always say God has promoted me to silent screens, Art and writing poetry is my favorite hobby. God blesses us in different ways, I am thankful to my favorite deity. Author: Gwen von Erlach Schutz
