The Queen
The Queen I sometimes thought she was a mystical creature from another time... The way the butterflies enraptured her body that day. They were drawn to her like a mosquito needing to feed. Flying around her feet as she would talk to them and softly giggle... Child-like she was... Still believing dreams come true and Prince Charming's do still exist Where life can be a fairytale if you want it to be She still saw the good in other's Forgiving them at the first prick or tenth Always looking past faults and only visualizing the good Her voice was strong and powerful When forced and needed But soft and tender too... She cared for her family Stood by her man Protecting them at any cost Pure at heart An Angel's smile A laughter that would radiate the world Brilliant mind Hands that always were giving Song Bird...a voice that melted the hardest rock She was not a Princess but A true Queen...
