You Eloped With Death, But Knew Her Not
No...! My dearest brother... Reach out! Hope is before thee! But your hand is cold, and unmoving... without a second thought, you have fallen into a dead sleep. Dream, my friend. Dream well. your eyes wanted sleep, your heart was old, riddled with rusty bullets... in every mirror, all you saw was a withered face, longing for reassurance... but even now... there's no trace of security in the ever contorting expression of your face."The HORROR!" you cried, your last breath shot into sky like the coughing of a dove... when that one trace of solace was revealed to be a fraud—a destroyer wearing the mask of your lost self. The light at the end of the tunnel was Death by her lamppost. I have no further words for this fool I thought was my brother...but... Sleep with Death and dream well. From one fool to another—i'll see you in Hell.
