Before the Gates of Alahsar - Version - 2 - 3
Continuation.......... Chapter..........1..........Part..........1..........2. My Lords and Ladies, hearken close, the ancient tale of Alahsar now begins, handed down are words of glory handed, we go to the mighty city of Alahsar. Let the sands of time dissipate, in your mind's eye, Alahsar shining, charge the horns lass, the song then shall sing in wonder. Mighty ones, hearken to my words, I take thee back, beyond the confines of time, come to ancient Alahsar, the jewel of dreamscape. Though it is still late, life still sings in the mighty city, voices of the happy people, they are raised in revelry. The battle of Badicha, now remembered, now, a great glory to the inhabitants, all Alahsar remembers the great battle, the fury, the victory, many forgetting the pain. The Dark Man had led an army onto the plain, silence, as loud as thunder, oh, destructions thunder, crashing, on Badicha, such despair. Such death unwanted lay upon the field, yet victory was won, at a high cost, this battle won the greatest war, peace wrapped the heart of Alahsar. That part of our tale, it is for later, to the soldiers quarters, we return, the primal passion was rife, temples within passions dance. Pleasure was requited, many did drink from desire's cup, dance your dance, brave children of war. what wondrous melody your song, as you sing before passion's flame, oh, Alahsar, sing now of love remembered, let the heart sing with glorious joy. Yet there is one, a woman, in her beauty and strength, she stands alone, this Warrior Queen watches all, as she stands in darkened shadow. The Warrior Queen, her mind within the stars, silently, as a shadow, she walks from the building, and how her long Auburn tresses dance, as the night's breeze plays its melody. Her soft brown eyes, never leaving the night sky, Now, she walks, slowly, up many steps, leading to the parapet, above Alahsar's mighty wall, She is beauty, holding death's sting. She watches for a sign of the storm, the storm, she knows, shall bring her love. The Warrior Queen does await her love, he is the Dark Man, from the kingdom of Gods and Heroes, this warrior queen does stalk the parapet. She is indeed an ancient glory, so deadly in the art of war, so gentle in the art of love, a smile comes to her face. she looks to the East, storm clouds gathering, he is coming for his love, he fulfils his promise to his Warrior Queen.
