Death Cheater
At the wake of dawn, Time stops and stands still, A little breeze ran through my skull like a swift serpent, With a question deep, almost as the mystery of life. Each day seems like a million years, I'm lost, unconscious as a flower, And can't be found even when all eyes are on me, In this darkness, I pray to die, But the cold hands of death remained farfetched. I lay dying but not dead, I’m cold, empty, alone, dejected, abused and intimidated, Again, I’m betrayed and stabbed in the heart, This darkness and all the unknown of the world holds me down, And won't let me go scot free, All my thoughts are running into tears like sunshine into rain. There is no escaping in any way, It consumes me from my body to my soul, Until all the traces of me is about to disappear, Now my heart has turned cold, But I’m still breathing fine and couldn’t die as imagined, Especially this day that I'm tired of dying with my innate potentials.
