In My Meditation
And in my deep meditation, I am searching with a breathless sigh; I am following the twisted path of a flowing stream, and birds twitter and tweet from the trees a sweet melodic symphony; a turtle rests on a rock and trees are trembling. Bees fly! And I am weeping crystal tears from my third eye, suddenly, I am in a garden beautiful and see a pretty church; in the center of the garden surrounded by flowers of all hues, there is a sign on the door that reads, DO NOT ENTER. I turn away and the flowers are now rows of gray headstones, somewhere, in this vast graveyard they all lay in rest; gone to dust, no more breaths, no more pain, no more ever. Now, by that flowing stream a thrush is singing sweetly. _________________________ August 21, 2019 Poetry/Verse/In My Meditation Copyright Protected, ID 19-1174-687-02 All Rights Reserved.
