Blessed: Favorite Word
Blessed* --- divine word of Providence-grant Love-filled, revealing life, blissfully triumphant Expressing heart, earnestly jubilant Satisfied by God’s provisions, super-abundant Sufficed, though resources seem scant Embellished with great truths, excellently relevant… Distinguished reality I delight in; “blessed” makes me exuberant! Blessed**: human term testifying about the pleasant and significant Liberating attitude from being selfishly arrogant Empowering soul to be generously compliant Showing goodness of the Lord, gloriously radiant Sharing sincere love, rebuking the bitterly defiant Exemplifying joyous peace, heavenly elegant… Distinct favorite word of mine; “blessed”*** moves my faith as Christ’s servant! *2Samuel 22:47 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. **Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. ***Luke1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. (Acrostic poem in monorhyme form) August 17, 2019 5th place, "N-A rerun 3" Poetry Contest Sponsored by John Hamilton; judged on 9/26/2019.
