When the Sun Goes In
When the sun goes in- night will fall, and up above stars will sprawl; I lay my head upon my pillow, and my curtains billow. I can see the stars blinking and they seem to call, yes, I hear my name being whispered . . . so from my bed I crawl. I am drifting up- into the sky, didn't know I could fly; up above the night clouds I see a zillion stars, and suddenly a star stirs. Oh, these are the spirits of my beloved- I sigh, then, many are shooting here and there . . . and I want to cry. My beloved are the stars- in the night, they zoom shining so bright; then, I am swept up and we are dancing, across the dark night sky prancing. Waltzing and zooming with stars is quite a delight, but soon darkness is starting to go . . . and stars fade out of sight. ____________________________ August 13, 2019 Poetry/Rhyme/When The Stars Go In Rhyme Patterns aabbaXa ccddcXc eeffeXe Copyright Protected, ID 19-1172-965-02 All Rights Reserved.
