Joy of the Lord
Joy of the Lord, indeed jubilant Offered for glad life’s optimization Yours and mine fully; surely… yes! Ordered to rejoice evermore* openly Fervently we do worshipfully as blessings flow… Triumphantly blissful midst trials Hoisted are we, blessed by faith's heavenly hope Exhorted along edification's encouragement… Led with God’s love-filled light Our hearts trust Almighty's omniscience Rejuvenated toward reaching-out readiness Delighting in the Saviour's joy daily. *1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore. Nehemiah 8:10 … The joy of the LORD is your strength. August 11, 2019 "Double Acrostic" since first letters of the first and last words were used purposefully to intensify the message. 2nd place, "Most Original" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Juliet Ligon; judged on 5/23/2021.
