Mouth the Words
We live in the shadows of our creations, paying homage to a technological God. Seeking truths hidden in the darkness, hope overshadows reality, creating a Disney-like fantasy world. And mesmerized by the neon glitter of gilded cities, we overlook their lack of compassion and pity. Through our silence, we condemn ourselves to a world without morals, besieged by the cruel architecture of greed. We pay a bitter price for our silence, feeding corrupt regimes and shadowed syndicates. Bending a knee, we pray one day out of seven, while hollowly claiming to walk in faith. We are pantomimes playing silent roles in a theater of shadows, juxtaposed against the closing chaos. Like ubiquitous white noise, we're an incoherent hiss, never rising above our self-imposed silence. It takes courage to speak out for what is right; and too many of us only mouth the words under our breath, in silent prayer.
