Talents To Be Realized
When I retired i thought what will I do with my time, Made friends with a handsome gentleman Maybe I fell in love for awhile, We couldn't date because he is much younger. I played the piano for the seniors, Christmas songs are my very favorite. Writing poems became my favorite hobby, I would share them with my relatives and friends. Art is another favorite hobby, I had my very own Art Exhibit where i invited relatives and friends. I gave two of my paintings to my handsome friend, He gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I will always remember that, Wished that I could send him more pictures. I also sung with the choir, We had a gold choir gown and a blue jay blue gown. Good to know even if you are getting older, You don't need to retire completely. I like acting too, we don't have a theatre at the senior's residence. I remember the days with the community theatre. The many talents to be realized, I cooked delicious foods for my father Dr. Wolf and I. They are good memories, We had some beautiful reunions with my relatives. They would all bring a dish of food, My brother would provide the music. Days as a senior fulfilling and complete, I will always remember that and I thank God for blessing us.
