The Dome
The sky will stay up there and meet the horizon time will continue, and the tide that smoothes the shore gulls will be searching for some food that washed up we had our bed and breakfast but is there no more? We traded our toys down at the playground got first price for winning the soap box derby fixed up an old clunker into a icon car sort of reminds me of the movie called Herby. Never walked the marble floors of Winchester cathedral nor looked out from the Eiffel tower over the city But I have discovered what many have not yet found the greatest stadium on earth, no sighting? Such a pity. Hope you have been in Vermont and had apple cider with a peppermint stick in it and half pan of cornbread its no ordeal to become a connoisseur of the green state’s finest while you sip remember the time of the downhill race you led. What has been beneath the blue dome will stay for our children we must give up our seats to let them enjoy the show I’ve been blessed with all of the creations laid before me its time now for you to begin your visions so you will know. Life began and it will end our journey come what may but beneath that big blue sky there’s such a wondrous ambiance of a decor spread out your blanket and watch the features on the big screen it will be there today for you and for evermore.
