There Is a Santa
There is a Santa No fruit bowl on the table existed in my upbringing. However the Christmas tree was nicely decorated with string popcorn and those large color bulbs that burnt your fingers! Santa came every year and even after I had given up my imagination. Xmas was giving in regards to gifts and getting together with family to converse on whatever fell into the gravy. It was a time to be together for the holiday, a gathering of belonging and comfort. That was then and now is without that big dinner and the memories shared. Traveling along in life over hills and mud ruts has put an emphasis upon becoming proud to have detained myself from spinning off the beaten path that has been walked upon which people earnestly earned their destinations. Profitable or not, getting there took determination and much grime. Sure there were bends in the road which one must achieve a way to stay on course. There were those that ran into the ditch and were was often obscured from those passing by. those that were found were brought to the table of humanity. It was the benevolence that shed understanding and sympathy to those who didn’t have Santa come down the chimney. Kindness to others creates a beginning to help those stand on their own and plant in their mind that Santa lives
