The Brass Ring, Part I
You hear it on the TV these days, and sadly in the classroom, fools running down America, proclaiming that we deserve doom. Ignoring that all their rantings in other lands would get them shot, so determined to play victim they’re all forgotten what they’ve got. They very nation they despise is what protects their lambasting, you won’t find such freedom elsewhere, America is the brass ring. You see it in foolish children who say everything’s about race, it’s not entirely their fault, iheir professors taught them to hate. Thinking that their ‘identity’ is defined for them by their birth, falling into the same damn trap that has ravaged so much of Earth. The whole point of America is to free you from such stupid things, don't squander the chance to be you, the great blessing of the brass ring. You see it in politicos who endlessly rant, and deplore; any who don’t fit their ideals, they demonize loud, or ignore. So convinced they own history, they cannot admit that they’re wrong, that no ideal solves all problems, that the counter-voices belong. Spiting on the Consitution, endless in their damn meddling, so hungry for power and fame that some would destroy the brass ring. You see it in the tech-fascists and assorted media twits, who can’t look at a new idea without trying to censor it. Thinking they can force us to accept all of their strange ideals, believing that their very words can alter everything that’s real. Not seeing any problem with the vicious act of censoring, thinking that they’re ‘beyond’ free speech, they’d love to silence the brass ring... CONCLUDES IN PART II.
