Welcome Sunday Morning
Welcome Sunday Morning! Through the morning blinds, I see A cloudy day looking at me, Fear of another tornadic day. Still hot coffee is waiting for me, And a trip to the computer to see What PoetrySoup has for me. My own poems ignored, I quickly read yours, I giggle, I congratulate, I distract from the storms, I realize a peace of mind reading you. Sometimes you're bleak, I picture your face, And pray for the changes that come with Grace, Or was it just spilling after all. Though there's enough joy to bring a laugh, And variety of classics and opinions at that, No newspaper can deliver. I may feel disturbed in my way of thinking, But when you tell me of love and I can’t deny it, I think I’ll get up so’s I can try it. Welcome Sunday Morning!
