you’re a fallen hero giving freedom to all you’re a fallen hero who saved an iron rule you’re a fallen hero as young as sixteen you’re a fallen hero who gave your life for the queen you’re a fallen hero who sacrificed for a friend you’re a fallen hero never seeing the end you’re a fallen hero who put your life on the line you’re a fallen hero who’s medals we shine you’re a fallen hero who wrote letters in fear you’re a fallen hero signing off with a tear you’re a fallen hero I give thanks to up high you’re our fallen heroes our angels in the sky you’re a fallen hero what would you think of it now you’re a fallen hero a different world since your vow you’re a fallen hero who fell amongst brothers you’re a fallen hero who fell amongst others a fallen hero we'll never look in the eye a fallen hero no more tears he will cry a fallen hero will never a see a sunrise a fallen hero will miss his babies poor cries a fallen hero will never walk on a sand a fallen hero on earth will not stand a fallen hero a child fighting a war a fallen hero never asking what for a fallen hero freshly faced and unsure a fallen hero made to fight by a law a fallen hero scared of dying alone a fallen hero being marked as unknown a fallen hero with a place in our heart a fallen hero remembered for his part a fallen hero our countries bright shining star a fallen hero well never forget who you are
