Don'T Ask, Just Live It
Don't be asking me that Baby! Reason for life, not a clue! Who's telling me, the blonde on the tube? She wants material to accumulate, diamonds, soccer babies, big houses social climbs, and trips to Cancun. Collections of men! Fast cars! Toys of every kind, and Botox injection What a bunch of silly fools! Preachers say life is to temper our soul. They all talking like they know. What if they’re wrong? Then what's the choir gonna sing? Professors say for knowledge to gain. Which knowledge do they mean man? Ain't no, one, true knowledge about nothing. You ivory tower sittin, elitist ass! No, forget the question and the reason, Baby. You’re a figment of the imagination Of someone that never existed anyway. Just live it. © Copyrights G. Jones 2006
