Regrets
Wish I could reverse things back to the days Days when it was just you and I… Days when everything was just but okay When our love was unconditional What we had was just for us; unique Always there for one another Gave each other a shoulder to lean on Reinforced our love with a strong foundation We were both altruistic, giving our all Relentlessly worked on our love, despite the ups and downs Looked into our imperfections Treated each other with a lot of affections So it is true that love is blind Yes! We didn’t see separation lurk privily Yes! we didn’t see our hearts go asunder So too much of good something is a blunder? Now am here stranded Don’t know which way to go Wandering in the jungle trying to find my heart My heart which I gave to you, but you chose to disappear with it. I got what I sought but lost Wanted to gain your love but again am in pain Was this set, or it’s just my fate I met I tried to relate before it’s late but look I regret
