I Broke
I’m beyond tired of fighting my mind, I’m tired of looking at what we left behind. Could we move past this once and for all? Could we ever get back to catch our fall? So much has changed in the last years, But you could always count on me to fight your fears. I’m exhausting and exhausted, I know. But I never thought I’d watch you go. Those were my mistakes, not only a few. But I thought I was safe with you. Let’s begin the count of days not spoken. You want space, are we really that broken? I know what you want, and you deserve the best. I’m trying so hard to fight the demon on my chest. It’s up to you, to make your voice heard, Could I look forward to hearing a word? I broke before and called you first, My heart broke, while my head burst. I hate being alone, left in this place. But I constantly see your face. Do you look at me in the future light, Or just as a shadow, an earlier blight?
