I’ve heard the saying, ‘time will heal’ Accomplishments I hold is good to feel Nevertheless, I still have miles to go When I come to the next bend, I’ll take it slow. Bends in the road are here for a reason They help me slow down during this season I find these curves are there to protect They give me time to pause and reflect. I see now how far I have traveled A lot of emotions I kept now unravel, These bends give me time to inspect my feelings Releasing my tensions and explore new healings. I am not alone on the road as you can see Many more are traveling ahead of me, I promised myself I would not alter my way One door closed, another will open; I pray.
