Eyes and Minds
Eyes and Minds Miracles can happen anywhere Open to contradiction by many In the eyes and minds of a be-holder The extraordinary event is real People claim to witness all types of miracles Other people dispute miracles out-right Miracles can’t be substantiated by fact And are ascribed to the supernatural Most claimed miracles are religious based Those who follow their beliefs will always believe The non-believers dismiss miracles as an imaginative event With no hard evidence or scientific natural world facts People all over the world use the word miracle To describe events that are not natural But is it loosely used and exaggerated? To suit the person who claims a miracle I cut a live wire with pliars, threw me against the wall A miracle I wasn’t electrocuted and killed Or was it luck as the pliars were insulated And I was wearing rubber boots on the wet ground It’s a miracle we can live and breathe on this planet That the world has a diverse range of flora and fauna That the universe around is infinite and unbelievable That we have evolved to become intelligent humans There is no concrete answer to how the universe was formed Scientists and astronomers are still trying to solve the mystery I would like to think that the answers will be found in time But it will be a miracle if it happens before we destroy what we have now
