Don'T Mess With Dad
A cursed thing whose time has come and I find myself with hate. I'm not yet ready and the clock is ticking, my daughter has a date. What lonesome creature, what spawn from Hell, will show up at my door. Some slithering beast to take my little girl, I must be prepared for war. When the Creature enters, a promise made to try to keep my cool. That will be hard with his intentions clear, he's here to steal my jewel. The doorbell rings and I let him enter as I try to hide my frown. I say, 'Let's talk... you've got the time before you hit the town.' 'At this time let me speak a cautionary tale. If truth be told I really don't mind going back to jail.' The brute licks his lips, pats his brow and his eyes begin to blur. 'My word is true. I do to you whatever you do to her.' I start to stand and take his paw, I'm feeling rather surly, 'It wouldn't hurt to curry favor and be home a little early.' My daughter joins us and looks at him, he sees what he is getting. She grabs his hand and looks at me, 'I wonder why he's sweating.' 'I can't be sure, we were talking and you both have my affection. I thought he might as most guys do. to see my gun collection.' So off they go out the door, they're walking down the street. He glances back, a worried look, I know that he's been beat. *For those who might be interested. I will be posting my cartoon 'Bob's your Uncle' on my homepage. A new one will appear every second day.
