Ethan the Cat 2
I have a cat called Ethan who is nicknamed the 'Beast.' We lost our dear Lucy who now is deceased. What corner of Hell and what star crossed dimension? Would garner a creature so starved for affection. He gets up too early, what's wrong with his brain. Like most early risers... he must be insane. He comes to my room and he jumps on the bed. And bats at my nose because he wants to be fed. He can be a bit strange with a swipe and a hiss. He would eat me for sure if a meal he should miss. He must have food right away but he's not getting thinner. Then moves to the rug and throws up his dinner. He scratches the chair and tears at the drapes. Before I spray water he makes his escape. He drags me downstairs with no time to regroup. And makes me stand guard while watching him poop. In front of the window seeing birds is a thrill. He begs for his freedom hoping for one chance to kill. A sleep on my drawings, he finds the best light. To move him a little would not be polite. He's quiet right now... at peace for a while. Now I crave his attention, this gives me a smile. When I stand before God... when I've come to my end. He'll judge me less harshly having called the 'Beast' friend. The End *For those who might be interested. I will be posting my cartoon 'Bob's your Uncle' on my homepage. A new one will appear every second day.
