The Same End
The whole world is burning Everything is turned to ashes The survivors hold the burden Of building the world from scratches The soil is not fertile The rivers disappeared There's no woman or child Blackness threw in their hearts fear They cried and wept for days They feared their hair turning grey They yelled and shouted out of rage They were dying slowly of age Their days were long Their nights were sleepless They all stood strong Yet their strength was needless They all knew that the end was coming There was no hiding or running They all waited for the devil's drumming Will it be a month or a dozen? Some of them gave in Some of them looked at death with a grin Some of them thought they can win Some of them cried at their sins One night the heat was rising A man claimed knowledge and started analyzing A man prayed and started symbolizing A man stood behind and started realizing "We shall die" one of them said "I'll pray for God" the other one pled "I shall die my way" the other one bled Silence spread, all the others fled All the men had the same end All the men are now dead
