Never Let Me Go
Never let me go, my Saviour… …now that I’m Your named child, grace-in-need; Nestle my heart within Your love’s nostril Nail me in Your nearness as to You I draw nigh. Never let me go, Lord… …neither allow me head toward bad news’ noise; Nurture my soul with spiritual nobility Nourish me midst negligence-naughtiness. Never let me go, my Friend… …no, not in my necessities; Navigate my neck’s diligence-numbness at night Notify me midst nuances of doubt-nays’ net. Never let me go, my Leader… …nowhere when nastiness negates my nod Nudge my faith from novice nettles Negotiate for me against sinfulness-nadir nabs. Never let me go, my God… …nor loosen me toward numberless pride-notches from Your nest; Note my nakedness as without You I’m nothing* Nurse me by Your divine nature, nonetheless necessary. *John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
