Stranded
One of the worst feelings Is when you feel stranded When things out of your control Come at you heavy handed With no sign of slowing down Your tools not equipped for the job No breakthrough or progress Only dealing with the cost Stranded does not always mean That you are stuck where you are You can be stranded inside Dealing with your demons at large Therefore creating a problem Resulting being stranded both ways Inside unable to make a decision Outside your stuck in your place Now helpless you really feel Feeling stranded and isolated Alone battling an unseen force Stranded was the result it created Not knowing how the get unstuck As if all you are is spinning circles Like you have forgotten to run Or attempt to jump the hurdle That lay in front of your path Your intimidated and stranded Don't let it beat you down Stranded to where you can't stand it Please keep your two feet moving Only in a forward direction Put you in charge of yourself And learn from your stranded lesson Written 3-24-19
