I'M Seeing Green
I'm thinking green and waving goodbye to Winter's brown. I'm hearing green like sweet sounds of resurrection. I'm tasting green and digesting its nutrients. I'm seeing green, and it is most beautiful. I'm feeling green, so filled with light and energy. Yes, I'm even smelling green, captured by its fragrance of life. I guess I'm all sensed out with the color of green. Never have I 'sensed green this way before', and I'm wondering why and what it all means? Last Sunday, I was arrested and captivated by the color of a green garment worn by a member of the worship team. I was compelled to keep focused on the beauty of the green on the big screen. Perhaps the entire focus would have been dismissed if it wasn't for the fact that later that day as I was watching the Weather Channel, my eyes were glued to what seemed the greenest lawn I had ever seen. I even uttered to my wife, "Wow, look at that green grass". By Monday night, I knew there was something special about what I was observing. At the Prayer meeting when we broke into groups for prayer, I prayed 'in green'. That is to say, the prayer request was based on prayer support for our 'Dreams', and I prayed that the dream would come alive like green grass and that there would be a "Go Signal" for that person to move forward with her dream. Sunday's attention with green led to Monday's prayer, but I'm convinced that there is more. We are entering "Resurrection Season" and I hope that you are 'feeling life' not just in the natural sense of 'Old Man Winter's departure, but also in the spiritual. I sense the light is green and I'm feeling the life-flowing Presence of our God, and from my vantage point, resurrection is in the air! 4PMPT03202019PoSoup
