Nightmare
He is a crazed individual His look dark and so sinister He grinned as he stared And shoved the knife into her He pulled it out slowly Starts caressing her hair Her voice muffled she screams But she is tied to a chair He plunges it in once more Her pain is so intense He has lost all control Stabbing her again and again Long after she's dead He keeps going and going The husband wakes up Was knocked out and not knowing That a killer broke in And tied them both up Now he sees his wife there Dead and covered in blood The sick man looks over He stares down his victim He contemplates on what He wants to do with him Now he is exhausted He killed her with confidence He can't leave two bodies The cops can't catch on to this So he stabs the husband Clean sraight through the chest He doused them in gas Pulled a match from his vest With one swift motion Match lights on first strike He sets them a blaze And runs off in the night He goes over the events That had just taken place He will never forget The horrid look on her face Later that next day In the mirror he stares And suddenly it hits him That was just a nightmare Written 1-30-19 This poem has gotten mixed reviews. It is not a person nightmare of mine. Complete fictional story I wrote. When I write the pen has a mind of its own. What the end result is, is what I leave on paper. This one gives me chills every time I read it. I had to share it it. Writing should move you it more ways that one. Suspense isn't bad now is it??
