Shall I Hope
Shall I hope? Is it safe or is it right? Am I hoping for nothing But a black and empty night? Hope should make me happy Hope should make me dance Because I just keep hoping For me. not a chance Why does hope keep leaving me Shaking in the darkness? Why does something so good Keep making me feel so helpless Shall I hope to hope? What difference does it make? Fate, she will soon find me And that will be a big mistake Does fate regard my hope Does she even care Am I shooting for an answer That simply isn't there What sort of hope leaves pain I thought hope should leave joy Why should I dare to hope Cause it's just some demons ploy I do not know, dear people How can I begin to dare To hope for something That simply isn't there Shall I hope to hope In a hope that leaves me dry Oh people,To hope how can I dare To hope in hope? How can I?
