The Sonata of Love
Through the desert of forlorn life I travelled carrying the burning hunger in my void heart and the unsatiated thirst in desiccated mind. Surrendering to the vehemence of its lure I chased a mirage in the searing middle of desolate nowhere, got lost in the despondent dunes of disquietude thinking my destiny wasn’t worthy of veneration for it didn’t instill in me the feeling of reverence for the heavenly emotion so dearly called love that remained unreachable perpetual illusion… Until at the edge of hope I reached a verdant oasis flooded by the silver glow of the full moon shine where I found you glittering as designed fairy spark. You became the star in my sky of fervidness and your sparkling effervescence made wings for me, I flew in the winds of amorousness to your arms. As we lay drenched in cerulean shower of stardust I extracted a block from my expressive heart, carved out ornate words of love to sculpt a lyric. The cadence of your ardent whisper set the melody and that became the sonata of our love. February 14, 2019
