Dear God
Dear God, If I die tomorrow, let me first thank you today. You have given me the mind I needed to purely pray. You have given me hope, trust, love, and faith in gobs. You have given me children, who take away my sobs. If I die tomorrow, let me first thank you today. You have given me a husband who is proud in every way. He sings my praises sweetly, and yours too, our Father Soul. He helps to make the life you have given purely whole. If I die tomorrow, let me first thank you today. For the grandchildren who delight me in every kind of way. For the home that is warm, and the food that is tasty. Do not go away yet, I will try to be a bit more hasty. If I die tomorrow I want you to know today. I thank you with my heart, my soul, my essence too. I thank you for the green grasses, the flowers, and the blue. Sky and water, which cleanse my soul, but most of all for you. If I die tomorrow, Dear God, my keeper, my everything, I must thank you first for the cardinals and robins that sing. Know I can never thank you enough for things you have done. For the oceans, the forests, the animals, the earth and the sun. I look up in the sky, and I see your treasurers there too. The diamond sparkles, showing me that I can keep loving you. You have given me your good book, you have given me your heart. Father in heaven, if I die tomorrow, the thanking will finally start.
