Confessions of a Driving Instructor
Confessions of a Driving Instructor - yes I was one in a previous life and this is just a bit of fun! I get paid to sit down all day It must be the easiest job you say But far too many blind spot checks Leave me with a wonky neck Each time that you crunch the gear My body tenses up with fear To round a corner turn the wheel My nerves are surely made from steel When I say left and you turn right I think that you are not so bright I glad I have my dual control brake Without this lives would be at stake Please don’t stall at traffic lights I’m sure you do it just to spite On hill starts you always roll back I wish that you would get the knack And when too hard you press the brake I know whip lash is going to ache I know you’re nervous and you sweat You always leave my car seat wet While you drive around in glee I really need to have a pee When its time to sit your test I cross my fingers, hope for the best If on the day you deem to fail Please try not to cry and wail
