Tony the Pony
TONY THE PONY Last weekend our friends invited us To their farm, And we were introduced, to their New pony, who had delectable charm. His name was Tony, Such a handsome pony, I noticed him from afar, And on his forehead, he had a star! He had already spotted me, From way beyond the Cedar tree, And stole my heart, Right from the start! He seemed so tame, Wanting to play a game! I was advised not to touch Too much Lest he bite, And give me a fright, But I was sure that this would Be furthest from his mind, For he looked adorable, And so awesomely kind! He slowly nuzzled Into my hand, As his hooves kicked up a Spray of sand. He was such an incredibly Soothing sight, Was sure I would dream of Him tonight! I was further advised not To give him any food, But could see he was eyeing my Apple and in the mood For a tasty munch, I gave it to him, and he happily Finished it was a loud crunch! Sunday arrived and it was Time to leave, Went to say goodbye and he Gently tugged my cardigan sleeve! We looked fondly at One another, As though we had always know Each other. Well Tony I said whilst Stroking his nose, He stood beside me, ever So close, I hear that you are soon To be a dad, You must feel so proud, And glad, I’m sure you and Shady Your young lady, Will adore your baby foal, And he or she will Steal your heart As you did mine, From the start.
