Nay, she did not think about Closing her hands To the needy Or to those who asked She was a gem That sparkled In the darkest of places. The light shined continuously From the corners Of her eyes, Leaking out Unto the world of us all Her smile was blinding, Her laughter Moved mountains Within the spirits Of all who had an ear Yes . . .
