This poem is for anyone who has experienced, trauma, tragedy or abuse. #9: Motivational Series Healing Deserved I know it seems at times, there may be no way out of the pain Abuse and trauma can change a life, bringing spells like the rain Sometimes the skies are so dark, if you are reliving horrible things It may be difficult to hear anything out there that sings The feeling may be that no-one could ever understand It truly does take someone to stand in your shoes on this land Maybe you’ve been told hundreds of times, things will get better Yet, it may not feel that way even with a loving letter All I can say is, abuse and trauma to anyone is so wrong! Every human is worthy of hearing the beautiful song! The song of life that brings joy, in that place you belong I’m here to tell you, I made it through the darkest doom Things that you can’t just sweep away with a broom! But I am just like you, hoping for the best in life to be At my doorstep, each morning with beauty to see Whoever you are, you are deserving of love, safety, healing!
