We say we 'take justice in our hands' As we transform her into blind revenge We tearfully ask the court that 'justice be done' Cunningly maneuvering her verdict our way We proudly 'do justice to a turkey on Thanksgiving' You'd think it might mean sparing the poor bird's life Which brings us to that pathetic misnomer 'Poetic Justice' For what is 'poetic,' say about a tobacco company executive dying of lung cancer? Indeed, my friends: What is justice? Perhaps, 'There is no justice!'
