Santa Listens To Mozart With Feet Up
He is listening to Mozart with his feet up, too mature to get into all the drama anyhow. There are fluffy marshmallows in his cocoa cup. their work has been done for a fortnight now. Mrs. Claus comes in and asks "Do you know where....?" and he replies, "I do not know, and I do not care." His great-great-great-great-great-great grandson as boss was no whim. He trusts him completely as his great great great greats trusted him. He gets up to get the Chex Mix and asks his wife if she wants some and of course it is his specialty, and so she does. He smiles at the memories of things that he remembers, that always started out with the best book and the word 'Twas". They hear the current Santa yelling out orders, and Santa smiles, relieved all of his stress is long gone from his body, and his soul. He had his days and they were marvelous, but now it is someone else's turn to represent the goodness of the North Pole. His eyes close, and he visualizes all the fun he had. Glad he can still remember. Also glad he took yoga, ice fishing, tobogganing, pilates, zumba, and meditation in the month of November. Because frankly up until a week ago he was not letting all this frantic and frolic go easily. Convinced that all of the world childrens' happiness is entirely "up to me!"
