Christmas fades out as swiftly as seasons do Giving us never a signal that it had dropped by; As the season of good intentions, set to revive Memories of those moments we enjoyed Those we wish to erase Those people who have left us for the heavenly abodes Those other people who have hurt us And those whom we love, whom we cling on us As desperately as do narcotics to their drugs! Christmas comes around with an aim That of allowing us to enjoy some family time, A boost much needed to fill our hearts with enough energy As to survive the rest of the year! But Christmas weighs so heavily on our hearts Life remains so shaky Our tomorrows are not promised And our todays stand on unstable grounds!
