For Ryan, My Resident Hero
He was born with such great talent, in his soul it was ingrained, it was fully formed at birth, never needed to be trained. His talent was astounding and those who got to see him play knew that they had witnessed a piece of God that day, They came from far to see him as his reputation grew, many were left speechless by the things that he could do. And every day he labored, creating castles in the sand, magnificent and heavenly, there was magic in his hands. Every day he drew a crowd packed tightly on the beach and everyone who saw him felt God within their reach. His creations were so amazing people felt their souls expand and most were truly humbled by the greatness of this man. And every day the sun would set and the sea would start to rise, the crowd would leave reluctantly tears flowing from their eyes. That night they dreamt of castles that took away their breath and knew they'd felt the presence of God manifest in flesh. Alas, the moon has risen as he watches head in hand as the tide destroys his castle and it once again is sand. But he'll be back tomorrow to create is to be free and crowds will come to watch him build his castles by the sea.
