Coal-Filled Boots of Santa Claus
O, this year Santa Claus was so naughty. He was rude and selfish, crude and haughty. So when he came down the chimney on Eve, I snuck coal in his boot while climbing down. I tucked it gently in his black laces sleeve. because selfishness is my biggest pet peeve, and when Santa is naughty all the children frown. He felt the heat and jumped up and to and fro. Knocked over the tree, stepped on my dog Bo. The lights strung with care fell to the floor, I was more mad than ever; for he was disturbing. I saw no toys in his pouch…"Santa is poor!" I exclaimed so loud the neighbors wanted more. The fact he was toyless was so unnerving! So you see ‘lil children the moral of the tale is that even Santa can be sassy and can fail. This man you revere is not as kind as can be, he is just as bratty and naughty as you and me. So next time he comes down that brick chimney- remember…put hot coal in his boot, it’s so easy!
