Sparkle Heart
Your spirit was to bright for this pit viper world. A pine scented soul, treading poverty's venomous whorl. With a sack of hungry kittens slung across the back. Your heart was a break wall against the battering ram... of the selfishness and indifference of man. You polished our grit into pearls of faith and light. Feeding our confidence, allowing our gifts to take flight. Many times, your words were like uncut diamonds. Pouring shine into the heart of our darkening minds... Offering endless cups of warmth and wisdom for: the wayward the depressed the jobless the spouseless the homeless the aloneness the lifeless... in us Grandma passed into that gilded realm of infinite miracle. With fathomless love and tenderness, those matted kittens have turned into tiger gems. 11/17/18
