Babes In Pie Land
Bake it with love and watch them run for taste Affable little rug rats that love to eat in haste Babes with eager faces plump & pillow faced Earing out their smiles with a beg of after taste Silently they make a move every noise erased I try and hide the pies for the night of Christmas eve Niggling up the crumbs, I stash away then leave Pitter patter pitter patter to the kitchen they both go Identical on facial grins like two geniuses at stow Each one pokes and prods the soft Pillsbury dough Licking up the berries with a silly grin in toe; Another year of crumpled pies it comes to no surprise Natalicious feigns are coming from their droopy eyes Dotted cheeks of jam with telltale signs of eaten pies.
