I had gone to bed too early knowing I would be paying for it. And I did. Because I woke up like a shot at 2:17 a.m., thinking it was morning and it sort of was. Just not the “right” morning. When I tried to go back to bed at 5:16, I knew it was a mistake. I would have to get up in less than an hour, and it might take forty-minutes to go back to sleep. Crumble! Drumble! Grumble! Shumble! Mumble! Lumble! How many times do I do this? When will I learn? Apparently never.
