Forever Lost
Plato’s memory of the great city by the sea; a republic rich with ancient wisdom, is lost to the living. Centuries vast, yet decayed by the human hand, can’t share their progress. Secrets hidden in sand beneath angry seas, wash away forever. Gaia’s womb holds the key to a utopia; one seen by Plato’s eyes; one scattered among grains of sand, never again to be whole. The grave of great cities is denied by some; the uneducated-educated experts who, “cut off their noses to spite their own faces”, keep progress at bay. “Puck”, said it right; “Lord, what fools, these mortals be!” Thank heaven for the characters of fiction who hold more wisdom than, modern man. The writer channels long hidden truths. Only the few today, with vision, can red between history’s lines; the facts missed by most people. The world civilizations in reverse; doomed to fail, when in denial; possibilities, never to grow up to become…probabilities.
